Central Mall is conceived as a new 45 000 m2 shopping destination featuring some of the best known and liked fashion retailers as well as new and exciting brands currently not present in the market. The emphasis in the carefully planned tenant mix will be on quality and choice. The fashion element will be supported by a distinctive offering focusing on outdoors and sports, including an exclusive variety of sports fashion and equipment retailers catering to cycling, board sports, skiing, tennis and other sports. This exciting mix is designed to serve the growing demand for an active and healthy lifestyle in Vilnius and will be supported by a leisure offering including a well-known sports club, Skypark activity center and a number of specialist sports studios. This 9000 m2 area will serve the needs of demanding customers from Uzupis, Antakalnis, Old town and Central Vilnius, responding to the current shortage of such services in this part of Vilnius. The retail element will be anchored by a 7000 m2 hypermarket of one of the leading chains.
In addition to the retail and leisure offer, Central Mall will offer an extensive dining experience. Over 3000 m2 of restaurants, health food bars and cafes – many of them boasting panoramic views of the City Centre – will be anchored by an 8 screen multiplex cinema by one of the leading international operators.
The mall will be easily accessible by car and by public transport. It will be conveniently located within walking distance from the City Centre for local inhabitants and tourists alike. The Vilnius municipality is investing in the Vilnia riverbank reconstruction project, making it easy for pedestrians to reach the mall from Old town, Uzupis and the central part of Vilnius while enjoying beautiful riverside views along pedestrian and bicycle paths.
Uzupis is an area where some of the most sought after new residential developments in the city are being built on existing industrial properties like the Gerove factory and many others.
